The city of Manacor
is one of the three largest cities of Mallorca, along with Palma and Inca. The city offers many restaurants, stores, supermarkets and activities. A cinema with several halls, and the famous Rafa Nadal Academy opens many more possibilities and activities.
The weekly market in Manacor
The weekly market is always held on Monday, from 08:00 to about 13:30. The market stretches across the plaza next to the church “Mare de Déu dels Dolor” and the alleys around it.
Shopping options range from fresh vegetables and fruits from local farmers, to leather and clay products (such as belts, handbags, purses and shoes). A small recommendation, the gourmet stand “La Manchega”, here you will find a top cheese, ham and sausage assortment.
If you are just looking for fresh vegetables and fruits, you can find them every day in the market hall.
Also take the chance to get some delicious almonds, sweets and typical spreads like the sobrasada or foie.
