In the beautiful south-east of the island, west of the low mountain range Serres de Levante, lies the small town of Felanitx. In 1886, Queen Maria Cristina granted Felanitx the town charter for autonomy. Today Felanitx is the 4th largest town in Mallorca and is developing with its history into a traditional and imaginative future without losing its original character.

The fertile region and second largest wine-growing area of Mallorca, as well as almond, apricot and citrus cultivation, give the area its special charm with magnificent panoramic views. Fantastic sunsets with the special light of Mallorca around the island across the valley to the surrounding mountain ranges beguile many a nature lover and artist.

The village and the quality of life

Felanitx is a place with a special kind of people. The friendly and sociable inhabitants are considered independent and freedom-loving.
