Which gecko species do you see most in Mallorca?
The Wall Gecko with its gray and brown color, can perfectly hide on stones, earth or any other land or desert colors. It can grow up to 16 cm long, and has a defense system in dangerous situations, where it automatically drops its tail as a distraction for larger predators. During the day sees these little pets enjoying sunbathing, and at night mostly catching food (mostly flies or mosquitoes, so it is also a very nice lodger so you do not have to suffer so many mosquito bites).
Among Mallorcans it is said that a gecko in the house, brings happiness to the whole family!
