There are no designated zones for this).

2) Cala Mondragó / S’Amarador

These two beaches are only 5 minutes walk between them. The zone is a huge natural park.

3) Es Trenc

Probably the most famous beach from this list. Es Trenc is a very long natural beach, with crystal clear waters and a very very shallow entrance.

Spread over the beach there are several restaurants and beach bars, the most interesting area is probably “Ses Covetes”, where you can have a lot of fun especially on Sundays because in the afternoon there is a party in “S’Embat” every week (we will write a separate article about this).

4) Cala es Caragol

To enjoy this beach from Ses Salines, you will have to walk a good 20 minutes, but we assure you that once you are on the beach, you will not regret it!

Due to the slightly longer way, you have less space problems with this beach than with beaches like Caló d’es Moro.

Our tip:
prepare some delicious “bocadillos” at home, a watermelon and some “shandys” (beer with lemonade) to spend so carefree the whole day here!

5) Cala Mitjana

A very small and beautiful beach near Felanitx, with crystal clear water and a unique feeling.

This beach is quite hidden, but you can quietly ask us about this secret tip!

6) Playa Es Carbó

Is located near Colonia de Sant Jordi and the lighthouse of Ses Salines, and also has a slightly longer walk (about 20 minutes from the lighthouse). The beach has a length of about 1 KM, which in combination with the footpath, allows a more relaxed berth search.

7) Cala es Marmols

Another beach in the area of Ses Salines, and probably the most hidden of this list. You can get here via the Ses Salines lighthouse (about 90 minutes), via Cala S’Almonia (about 6 KM, we have not tried this way ourselves) or by boat.

8) S’Arenal Portocolom

Two very small beaches directly in Portocolom in the area of “Sa Punta”.

Here you will find many locals, the famous “Blue Budde” and the new beach bar with gourmet food.

On this beach in summer there is usually a swimming island, perfect for entertaining the smaller ones. And at the end of July there is the traditional “Sopa a Penyas” where you can spend the afternoon and evening with family and friends (beach towels, food and drink are best to take with you), and where you can see a spectacular fireworks display at 12 o’clock on the other side of Portocolom.

9) Cala Sa Nau

Beautiful natural beach with turquoise water and a super beach bar where you can also have a very romantic dinner in the evening (Best to always reserve table!).

10) S’Algar Portocolom

The most natural beach on this list, and also the quietest. Depending on the season, sand may or may not be present on this beach. Whether one or the other, this beach is simply stunning for nature lovers and fans of crystal clear waters. On this beach you will find 90% Mallorcans, so maybe learn a word or two in Mallorquin/Spanish beforehand to get into a nice conversation or ask for sunscreen!

Do you have another favorite beach in our zone?

Feel free to write it in the comments!

We are always happy to get new ideas and try these beaches ourselves!

Lucas Froese | Sales Agent | +34 685 302 653 | lucas@lucasfroeserealestate.com

Are you also looking for insider tips to enjoy Mallorca in an authentic way? – Then you are right here!
