Nowadays, renting out a house to tourists is really profitable because it also offers a more authentic and personalized experience than what tourists find when they flock to hotels.<\/span><\/p>\n

Below I explain the conditions that must be met in order to successfully obtain this license, which can be very advantageous economically.<\/span><\/p>\n

The general requirements that are necessary in each modality are as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. That the house has a minimum age of 5 years.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. A certificate of habitability or similar document.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. One bathroom for every 4 places.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. An energy certificate (F or D, depending on the case).<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. A water meter.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. That the house is not subject to the official protection regime.<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. The minimum quality factor according to an assessment document called “Annex 6”.<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. That the owner has not marketed more than 2 houses for tourism in the other modalities.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
